Summer is upon us and with summer comes new flavorful beers, and this year is no different. We have had the honor of tasting a new flavor of beer by The Traveler Beer Company, their new IPA Shandy. It has a very hoppy flavor and a sweet aroma of citrus. It has a slight overabundance of grapefruit that overtakes the other flavors, but it is still very enjoyable. We are fans of adding fruits to beers, but with the thought that it would not overtake the the flavor profile of the rest of the beer. The bottle is very eye-catching and even has a “best by” mark off, on every label. Traveler is a fantastic local, New England company that we support and looking forward to seeing what comes out of their favorite in Vermont for the fall.
