We have known Playboy Playmate of March 2015, Chelsie Aryn for the past few years and couldn’t be prouder of her meteoric rise. She has some unhealthy obsessions with junk food, WWE and the New York Jets but that’s why we love her. She is not the prototypical model in the fact that she can eat bags of Doritos and Oreos and doesn’t care. We know this, because we have seen it first hand. Chelsie is a great person and she reveals some of her favorite things and how not to pick her up at a bar.
Wingman Magazine: So this has been one of your biggest accomplishments, how long have you wanted to do this?
Chelsie Aryn: Since I was 14 I wanted to be in Playboy after I saw my dad’s Playboys and because of the show, Girls Next Door and have been obsessed with it ever since.
WM: How does it feel to be an actual Playmate?
CA: It feels amazing. It is crazy, I wake up everyday and say “I did it”, I say it to myself everyday. I never take my playmate necklace off, unless I am going swimming, in the shower or when I work out, if I remember to take it off.
WM: You unfortunately are a huge Jets fan:
CA: I do love my team even though they don’t win. But they did just spend a lot of money this offseason.
WM: What could a guy do to impress you if he met you at a bar or at a game?
CA: I like when a guy actually has a conversation with me. Don’t come over and spout off lines to me. We are people, just have a conversation. You can’t drop lines and expect anything to happen.
WM: What are your top 3 favorite movies of all time?
CA: Aladdin is definitely my first choice. Never Back Down because I love seeing people get beaten up. The third choice is a tie between The new Foot Loose and 8 Mile. I don’t like the girls gushy movies, I watch them, but I hate emotional movies. I saw Never Back Down 2 but I didn’t like it as much as the first.
WM: What is the nerdiest or geekiest thing about you that guys would love to know?
CA: People make fun of me because I watch the WWE, but that is definitely the nerdiest thing about me. The WWE was in Albany last month and I was devastated because I couldn’t be there and see Roman Reigns. I want to be in the first row of the one he walks down, so I can grab onto him.
WM: Who is your favorite actor:
CA: My favorite actor is Charlie Hunnam. He is completely different in real life when you see him on the red carpet then in Sons of Anarchy. I was devastated when he backed out of 50 Shades of Grey.
WM: You have quite the, shall we say diet, that most people would be shocked to hear, unless they knew you.
CA: My newest food obsession is Chester’s Hot Fries. I loved them when I lived in Georgia, but when I moved back to Albany they didn’t sell them there. When I became a Playmate and moved to California, I found them here and haven’t stopped eating them. I bought 5 bags on Monday night and there is only one left.
WM: How did this obsession with WWE Superstar Roman Reigns come about?
CA: I have been obsessed with wrestling and the WWE since I was a kid, which I also blame on my dad. My infatuation with Roman Reigns is because 1. He Looks like a god. 2. He is badass, like an unstoppable war machine. I was watching it and I remember he was with Nexus and he just reminds me of like Stone Cold, and I found he is related to The Rock.
WM: Go-to karaoke song:
CA: Shania Twain’s Honey I’m home. I have forever been a Shania Twain fan. That was the first song that I heard when I was like 5 and still love it.
WM: What magazines, blogs, websites do you read most often?
CA: Only two magazines that I read are Playboy and Cosmo. But when I am home I check out the muscle car magazine.
WM: What’s the most memorable pick up line you’ve ever heard?
CA: I have only laughed at one pick up line. I was a senior in high school walking down the hallway and a kid in my brother’s grade (Which is five years younger) walked by and said, “Are you from Tennessee, because you are the only Ten I see.” I laughed because I wasn’t expecting it. And I didn’t take it seriously because we actually had a student transfer in that year from Tennessee. The worst pick up line I ever got was at a country fest and this guy walked over to me said “hey baby what’s your sign?” and I responded quickly with “I’m jailbait, what’s yours.”
WM: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
CA: Besides being in Playboy would be changing the way I lived for a boy. I moved to Georgia for a guy, but otherwise I am not that crazy.
