Marvel has reacquired the rights to Spiderman from Sony this month and will be adding him back to their staple of films to be released over the next couple of years. Spiderman will take over the July 28th, 2017 pushing back Thor: Ragnarok and The Black Panther. By bringing back the Spiderman franchise it will add a lot to the Captain America: Civil War film. No news yet on who will actually be the new Spiderman, but we know that it will not be Andrew Garfield from the Amazing Spiderman franchise. There is talk of maybe bringing Tobey Maguire back for it, but I think new blood is needed to reprise the role of the web-slinging superhero.
