On the wake of a leaked poster from Gamestop, we now have full confirmation that Injustice 2 by NetherRealm studios will be released in early 2017. Besides new characters being added, like Grodd, Supergirl and Atrocitus so far mentioned, they are adopting and implementing a gear based system. So basically everytime you start the game you will get a loot drop which are character specific. So the first you play as Batman compared to the 10th time you play as Batman will be completely different for you, and for everyone else. Not only is updating the character list and the gear system but the destructive environments are back, bigger and better. The interactions you will be able to get out of these should be crazy.
The Injustice games are not only about fighting but their story is amazing. Will it follow the last 4 years of comic book arcs? We will have to wait and see, but you should be as excited as we are at this point.
