Oliver Queen is getting a new love interest in season 4 of ‘Arrow’ in the form of Elysia Rotaru. You have seen Elysia on Supernatural, Fringe and Smallville in the past and she has been cast as a former flame of Oliver’s, most likely from Coast City. We saw Oliver and Felicity driving off into the sunset, and the last flashback was Oliver getting onto a boat destined for Coast City. We can only guess that Elysia’s unknown character will be in the flashbacks of Oliver’s year in Coast City.
With Coast City being the home of the Green Lantern and Star Sapphire, more Easter Eggs should occur in the season toward a possible birthing of the Green Lantern in the DC Universe. There has been talk that John Diggle (David Ramsey) is going to be the Green Lantern, but nothing has been confirmed or denied. There has been plenty of Green Lantern and Green Arrow crossovers in the comics that it is bound to happen, and with Oliver in Coast City, it’s looking more and more certain.
